Not a mistake

"Come into your relationships with this understanding,
~ I have not made a mistake
     ~in making you~."

A simple tool to participate with Jesus in transforming our minds:

Take a truth, a scripture, something said that inside you responded with.. "there may be some truth to this."

It possibly is an invitation to receive, to believe.

There is a scripture that says to believe is to grasp onto... esp. when it is so easy to dismiss that there is anything good about me, besides when I do well.

I believe sometimes we are blocked from "doing well" in order to have to learn, to open up to, to beg for help to believe, that we are good with out it. We do not have to be blocked either, we block ourselves enough with our misbelief, our being deceived...that was never punished by they way.

But what if we do not believe? What if we find ourselves begging for help to believe? Well, we are in good company then...

I am reminded of the story of the man who was asking Jesus to heal his son and the Father tells Jesus how bad it is for his son, and how his disciples could not drive the demon out. Then the father says to Jesus, "If you can do anything..."  Jesus replies, "If You can?" "All things are possible for the one who believes."  So, the father of the boy does what it seems Jesus wants him to... He tells Jesus dutifully, "I do believe"  In one version it says then a cry comes from his lips "Lord, Help my  UN-belief!"                                                                  Mark 9:20-26
It is my experience that this kind of cry that the lord listens to also, harkens... for then Jesus heals his son.

It is also interesting to note that after Jesus spoke the words that healed the son, the boy was thrown into an even greater fit, he looked even worse off, but the spirit finally left him and then he looked dead, it was whispered he was dead. Then Jesus takes up his hand and he raises to his feet. Moral here may be not to take what it looks like as what it is... don't be fooled by the outside appearances, "I am alone", "I am broke"... we are never less than four; ourself, in Jesus, who is in the Father, Holy Spirit in us.. and when you don't feel it ask for help for your unfaith.

"Come into your relationships with this understanding...
~I have not made a mistake
    ~in making you~."

Come
just you, your unique self and your hidden self,

Into
You do not need to avoid, come in!

Your

Relationships
the ones with the people who you find yourself facing today.

With

this

understanding...

You are enough.

I
Creator speaking here; the triune Godship, who are only goodness.

Have Not

Made a mistake
Can God make mistakes? Oh, we think so don't we?  But... really? He cannot do evil.

In

Making

You
Just you, your unique self and your hidden self

God made you just the way He wanted. He has in essence said,

"I do not need to accept that which I have made to perfection." If I make a meal, and it turns out as I wish, do I then need to 'accept' it?

Or do I just enjoy it?

God enjoys you.*

His words, His presence within us heal us. It's amazing and it's incremental, one microscopic transformation at a time.

It is not over night it is often not lightening and thunder showers. It is real. Real healing is offered anytime we choose to take the time, to spend time, with them. Which leads to real help, tangible help in this very messy world; what we brought to the table of their creation, they have in no way rejected, but rolled up their sleeves and jumped into! Jesus showed up here saying He was not alone.

*Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]!"

"He will rejoice over you with joy;"

"He will rest [in silent satisfaction, (as He sees what He has created?)]"

"and in His love He will make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them];"

"He exults over you with singing."

Because they see what they created... what is underneath all the damage.
